It’s not too often in February that we get days with good weather and temperatures over 60 degrees! When that happens, I like to take advantage of it, and we certainly did this time! Jessica and Zach are getting married later this year at one of my favorite places to visit, the San Juan Islands up in Washington. We took the opportunity to get out on this nice day and have a little adventure, do some exploring, and drink some wine. Oh, we took some engagement photos too. :)
We started out on the Reed College campus, setting up a picnic in the middle of the lawn. I’m sure people though we we’re pretty odd! Then we headed downtown Portland and walked along the East Bank Esplanade, a really cool path on the East side of the Willamette River. Did I mention that these two are both city planners at some local cities? And finally we finished up at Enso Winery, a really cool local urban winery that started out in a garage and now has a great little tasting room.
It’s fun to have a couple willing to try some new things and do some exploring on their engagement session. Their photos turned out great and I’m really excited to be a part of their wedding day!
